## What PageTest does

PageTest turns PageSpeed / Lighthouse audits into an ongoing workflow:

1. **Measure**: Run desktop and mobile Lighthouse audits on any public URL. Scores cover performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO, plus Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT, FCP, Speed Index).
2. **Track**: Signed-in users get test history, a dashboard, weekly scheduled checks, and Google Drive export with URL mappings.
3. **Improve**: Optional AI suggestions use the same Lighthouse issues, detected site stack (Next.js, WordPress, Shopify, etc.), and affected resource paths as the Issues tab. Not generic tips.

## Free vs signed in

**Free (no account):** Run tests, view full issue breakdowns, toggle AI suggestions on a run, share public report links.

**Signed in:** Test history, scheduled checks, Google Drive export, URL mappings, dashboard.

## AI suggestions

AI output is per device (desktop or mobile). Fix steps reference real audit resources and stack-specific guidance (e.g. next/script, Partytown for GTM on Next.js). The UI shows Lighthouse issue details plus a Recommended fix section.
